Thomas Zimmerman was born, raised, and continues to live on the sprawling plains of Western Kansas. This area of the world is dominated by agriculture, and farming. It has always been and continues to be a huge part of his life and art. As an artist, Zimmerman strives to take the appreciation and love he has for the land, animals, and way of life on the high plains and enfuse them into his photographs. To Zimmerman, the ultimate goal is to make the viewer feel what he felt while he was immersed in the scene before his lens. The loving husband and busy father of four has sold his work throughout the United States since 2011. Zimmerman was a finalist in the 2014 USA Landscape Photographer of the Year competition. However, to Zimmerman, his greatest accomplishment is creating art people find worthy of purchasing and putting in their homes and place of business.
