Tell Me More
San Francisco Monastery in Sorrento by Giovanni DiGuida ~ "Il Convento di San Francesco a Sorrento" is one of DiGuida's most beautiful and serene pieces. Flowering vines and hydranges frame this secluded courtyard in Italy.
About The Artist
Giovanni Di Guida was born in 1965 in Naples, Italy, where he still lives and works. He is a student of Vincenzo Laricchia and studied painting at the Art Institute in Naples.
Di Guida is an artist who knows how to put just that touch of imagination into a realistic theme to transfigure it and make it a creative work. He has been intensely active artistically since his youth and has taken part in numerous group and individual exhibits in Italy and abroad, where his works are found in both public and private galleries. He is best known for his typical Mediterranean coast views and “terraces.”
